Find the things that start with the same sound that starts "A-choo". (apple, ear, ambulance, mop, ant, alarm clock.)

Play Miss A's A-choo game. Make a list of random words, some of which begin with the short "A" sound, and call them out slowly and clearly to your child.  When your child hears Miss A's "A-choo" sound, have them make a big "A-choo" sneeze, like Miss A!

Using Popsicle sticks and yarn, have your child practice making upper-case and lower-case "A". The Popsicle sticks can be used to form the straight lines of upper-case "A", and the more flexible yarn can be used to make lower-case "a".
